McLean, Va. (January 24, 2013) The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) today announced the dates of its HSMAI’s MEET series for 2013, to be held in Chicago, Ill., Anaheim, Calif., and Washington, D.C. The events expand upon the success of the 2011 and 2012 HSMAI’s MEET conferences that continue to offer exhibitors the opportunity to meet with the industry’s leading planners and decision makers, as well as top-of-the-line training for meeting and event planning professionals.
 
“MEET National was a great opportunity for us to showcase our hotel in many different ways, and we appreciated all of HSMAI’s efforts and hard work to help make this event a success,” said Kate Sullivan, senior sales manager, Grand Hyatt Washington. “Overall we calculated more than 7,000 room nights were generated in solid show leads for our hotel.”

MPI and HSMAI Launch Groundbreaking Strategic Partnership
 
A press conference was held on July 29th, the opening day of the 2012 World Education Congress in St. Louis, to announce the partnership of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). For the first time, HSMAI and MPI have agreed to provide one another with education at select events including HSMAI's MEET National.
